Sorrento’s gentle front beach is an ideal place to play and relax.

Picnic on the foreshore, take the Millionaires Walk, one of the many other walks in the area, take a refreshing swim and keep and eye out for the resident dolphins that play in the crystal clear waters. If you are looking for some wave action, head off to the back beach on the Bass Strait side of the peninsula.

There is plenty to do in Sorrento. Visit the Collins Settlement site - the first recognised settlement in Victoria. Take in a round of golf, go bushwalking, sailing, scuba diving, fishing or boating. The town's character is drawn from it's historic limestone buildings, majestic hotels, top quality eateries, sidewalk cafés, boutiques, galleries and specialist shops. Take a leisurely stroll down the road to the Portsea Hotel, or play a round of golf at the spectacular Portsea Golf Club.
